Today is filled with anger
Fuelled with hidden hate
Today is built on tragedies
That no one wants to face
Today is filled with rage
With violence in the air
Children bred with ruthlessness
Because no one seems to care
But tomorrow I see change
A chance to start anew
Built on spirit, intent of heart
And ideals based on the truth
Tomorrow I feel the second wind
And will stand strong with pride
Because I know I fought with all my heart
To keep this dream alive!
To bear the storms that life may share;
